A Whitefish Bay gynecologist has been sentenced for inappropriately touching and talking to his patients.

Evan Saunders, 48, was sentenced Thursday to a year in prison and three years of probation for inappropriate interactions with patients, according to online court records. Saunders was found guilty in September of four counts each of fourth-degree sexual assault and disorderly conduct.

Four women, ages 20 to 52, testified that Saunders touched them inappropriately and said inappropriate things about their sexual lives, according to an article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Saunders denied some of the accusations made against him, according to the newspaper.
