Two Bikes, a Fence and a Car Cover Stolen

The latest Whitefish Bay police reports include some unusual thefts.

Two bikes, some iron fencing and a car cover were stolen last week in Whitefish Bay:

  • Two sections of fleur-de-lis wrought iron fence were stolen from the entrance of a home in the 700 block of Henry Clay sometime between 8 p.m. July 6 and 5 a.m. July 7. The fencing was valued at $100.
  • A light green car cover was taken from a sports car parked in the 600 block of Birch Avenue sometime between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on July 9.
  •  An 18-speed Huffy Stone Mountain bike was stolen from the 100 block of Chateau Place between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on July 9. The bike was parked next to the front porch.
  • A bike valued at $1,200 was taken from the rear of The Bay restaurant at 342 Silver Spring Dr. between 8:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. July 13. It was a Trek road bike with red rims.
