Stolen Vehicle Recovered in Milwaukee

Two thefts from vehicles were also recently reported in Whitefish Bay.

A vehicle that was stolen two weeks ago in Whitefish Bay was recovered on the east side of Milwaukee last week.

A 2003 Ford Expedition was stolen in the 4700 block of Cumberland Avenue sometime between 8 p.m. Dec. 27 and 8 a.m. Dec. 28. The vehicle was unlocked and contained keys to the vehicle.

The vehicle was found parked in the 2700 block of Farwell Avenue on Jan. 3. Most of the property inside the vehicle had been stolen.

Thefts from vehicles

In the same time window that the SUV was stolen, two other vehicles were entered:

  • Currency and coins were stolen from an unlocked vehicle sometime between 6 p.m. Dec. 27 and 7 a.m. Dec. 28. The vehicle was parked in a driveway in the 4800 block of Ardmore Avenue.
  • An Osprey bag, two tape measures and change were stolen from a vehicle in the early morning hours of Dec. 28 in the 4700 block of Larkin Street.

Another vehicle was entered several days later:

  • About $10 in change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle sometime between 12 p.m. Dec. 29 and 11 a.m. Dec. 31 from a driveway in the 4900 block of Idlewild Avenue.
