Dear Parents,

In the interest of safety for all affiliated with our school community, especially our students, I want you to be aware that the (WFBPD) is investigating an armed robbery that took place this past Monday, December 12, at approximately 7:15 PM at the bus layover on the corner of N. Marlborough and E. Fairmount.  The victim was not a WFBHS student nor a member of our staff, but rather a coach for the North Shore Swim Club that trains in our pool.  The suspects were described as two white males, 20-25 years of age, wearing baggy blue jeans and dark hooded sweatshirts.  They were last seen walking northeast from the bus shelter in the general direction of the high school.

If you have any information related to this incident, please contact the WFBPD at 414-962-3830.  In addition, I encourage you to impress upon your children the need to be duly vigilant while in our community, despite its overall safe nature.  A particular word of advice from School Resource Officer David Hyrniewicki is to have students set up their cell phones to speed dial the North Shore dispatch center at 414-962-4619.  In addition to using 911 in emergency situations, which connects with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department, this number provides a direct connection with our local North Shore law enforcement agencies.  Your attention to these safety matters is appreciated!

Sincerely,

Bill Henkle, WFBHS Principal
