Prescription Pills Stolen in Knifepoint Robbery

A 17-year-old Milwaukee boy is facing criminal charges after allegedly stealing prescription pills from a man at knifepoint in the Bay Village Town Homes community.

According to the criminal complaint:

The victim flagged down a Whitefish Bay police officer in the 100 block of Chateau Place at 1:55 p.m. May 30, saying he was just robbed at knife point. He said he was going to sell Clozazepam prescription pills to his friend, but instead, a 17-year-old boy approached him, put a butterfly knife against his stomach and said "What you got bro?"

The robber then reached into the victim's pockets and stole his iPod, phone and wallet. He threw the phone and iPod, but kept the wallet, where the victim usually keeps the pills.

The robber then got into a vehicle with a 19-year-old man, who the victim also knew. The car was parked in the 4800 block of Shoreland Avenue and fled westbound on Hampton Road.

The three males later admitted to Whitefish Bay police that they staged the robbery to steal the victim's pills. Although the boy with the knife was the only one charged, Whitefish Bay police say they intend to cite the other two males for being a party to the theft.
