Police Report: Underage Drinking, Bad Check at CVS and More

The latest reports from the Whitefish Bay Police Department.

A 20-year-old Oak Creek man and a 19-year-old Milwaukee woman were arrested for drug possession in Whitefish Bay the early morning hours of Dec. 19.

The two were taken into custody after the police pulled their vehicle over at 3:51 a.m. in the 4500 block of North Oakland Avenue.

The man was taken into custody for violation of the absolute sobriety law, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The woman was taken into custody for underage alcohol consumption, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

  • A 19-year-old Fox Point woman was arrested for drunken driving at 2:48 a.m. Dec. 18 in the 4700 block of North Anita Avenue. Her blood alcohol content was 0.13. She was cited for operating while intoxicated-first offense, prohibited alcohol content, underage person transporting alcohol and failing to yield at a flashing red signal.
  • Two teenage boys were caught smoking cigarettes at Cahill Square Park at 2:41 p.m. Dec. 18. A 15-year-old male from Whitefish Bay and a 16-year-old male from Fox Point turned over a pack of Marlboro cigarettes and two lighters, which were destroyed. Police contacted the mother of one of the boys.
  • Officers responded to a home on the 4900 block of North Berkeley Boulevard on report of a fight at 11:54 p.m. on Dec. 18. Police spoke to a 30-year-old Whitefish Bay man, who later admitted he was involved in a verbal argument with his friend, a 33-year-old Port Washington man. Both men told police the fight was verbal only, and they were given a warning by officers.
  • A bad check was received at the CVS Pharmacy, 240 E. Hampton Rd.  at 2:04 p.m. Dec. 18. The suspects left the store in a four-door Ford Escort, and police identified the suspects as a 28-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 23-year-old Milwaukee woman in a traffic stop. The case was turned over to the Milwaukee County district attorney's office.
