Police Report: Two Cars Entered Over Holiday Weekend

A jogger was also hit by a car and a 19-year-old was caught with drugs and alcohol.

Two vehicles were entered over the holiday weekend.

A purse was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the rear Silver Spring Drive parking lot in the 300 block of East Silver Spring Drive sometime between 9 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Saturday.

An iPod was taken from a vehicle parked in the 4600 block of North Idlewild Avenue sometime between 8 p.m. Sunday and 9:50 a.m. Monday.

In other Whitefish Bay police news:

  • A 23-year-old Whitefish Bay man was hit by a car while jogging across Marlborough Drive on East Chateau Place at 5:45 p.m. Dec. 19. He said the vehicle did not stop at the four-way stop intersection. He said he was not injured, but he believes he dented the hood of the vehicle.
  • A Playstation game console and a computer were stolen from an unlocked apartment between noon and 6 p.m. Thursday from an apartment in the 4800 block of Santa Monica Boulevard. The total value of stolen valuables is estimated at $1,350.
  • A 19-year-old Cedarburg man was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia and underage alcohol possession shortly after 1 a.m. Friday in the 2000 block of East Cumberland Boulevard.
