Police Report: Stolen Seafood, Inappropriate Bathroom Activity

The latest Whitefish Bay police reports also include a smash-and-grab theft in the parking lot behind Starbucks.

Police were called to Bruegger's Bagels Friday night on a report of a 60-year-old Whitefish Bay man engaged in inappropriate activity in the bathroom. Police talked to the man after the incident at 8:17 p.m., and sent him a citation. He has been ordered not to use the building's restroom anymore.

In other Whitefish Bay police news: 

  • A 51-year-old Whitefish Bay man was taken into custody and cited for retail theft at 4:33 p.m. March 15 after concealing $11.43 in stolen seafood from Sendik's.
  • A smash-and-grab theft resulted in the theft of a $600 laptop computer in the private parking lot behind Starbucks Friday afternoon. The window of the vehicle was smashed sometime between 4:50 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
  • Food was thrown at the windshield of a car at the intersection of Diversey Boulevard and Birch Avenue at 9:48 p.m. March 15. Police responded to the scene to check the area for juveniles, but were unable to locate any suspects. No damage was done to the car.
  • An iPhone 4s was stolen sometime between 9:15 p.m. and 10 p.m. March 14 at the Jewish Community Center. The phone is valued at approximately $200.
