Police Report: Stolen Bikes, Construction Traffic Trouble

The latest reports from the Whitefish Bay Police Department.

Two bikes were stolen last week in Whitefish Bay.

A blue and silver Giant brand women's bicycle was stolen from a detached garage in the 6200 block of North Berkeley Boulevard sometime between 8 p.m. Aug. 22 and 11 a.m. Wednesday.

An unlocked red, white and black Trek mountain bike was stolen from the north side of sometime between 3:15 p.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday.

In other police news:

  • Two electronic handheld diagnostic scanners valued at $5,000 and $7,000 were stolen from , 303 E. Hampton Road, sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Thursday.
  • A 78-year-old Whitefish Bay woman drove her car into a large hole in a construction zone at North Bartlett Avenue and North Lake Drive at 10 a.m. Saturday. The area is under construction for water main replacement and is expected to be completed by mid-September.
