Police Report: Soda Thrown at Bicyclist; Theft From Vehicle

Last week, valuables were stolen from a vehicle on Berkeley Boulevard, and a bike was stolen from the middle school racks.

A Fox Point man was hit with a cup of soda while bicycling in the 5400 block of Santa Monica Boulevard at 2:43 p.m. June 20. The cup was thrown by a 15-year-old Shorewood boy sitting in the passenger seat of a mini-van. Police tracked the license plate number of the vechicle to reprimand the boy.

In other Whitefish Bay police news:

  • An iPod and an acoustic guitar CD were stolen from a vehicle parked in a garage in the 5400 block of Berkeley Boulevard sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Friday.

  • A Bell bike helmet, 24-speed Trek bicycle and two cable locks were stolen from a bike rack at between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. June 20. The bike is valued at $490.
  • Police cited four young adults from Milwaukee with underage drinking on the private beach north of Klode Park at 9:22 p.m. June 20. All four of the young adults – ages 18 through 20 – had been drinking alcohol and were in possession of alcoholic beverages.
