Police Report: Nothing Wrong With Singing at the Bus Stop

Two bus incidents are among the latest reports from the Whitefish Bay Police Department.

Just because someone sings at the bus stop doesn’t mean there is something wrong with them.

Police were called to the scene of a person singing at the bus stop near North Santa Monica Boulevard and East Silver Spring Drive on Wednesday night. The caller asked police to check on the singer’s welfare at 8:16 p.m., but police did not observe any behavior that warranted a welfare check.

About an hour earlier, police were asked to remove a smelly individual from the bus. The driver, a 66-year-old Cudahy woman, told police a disorderly subject refused to exit the bus at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday.  She said the 66-year-old Milwaukee man smelled bad, and she requested officers remove him from the bus. She was advised it was not a police issue and was told to contact her supervisor about the incident. The issue was turned over to the Milwaukee County Transit System.
