Police Report: Four Vehicles Entered Sunday Night

Police also responded to incidents of road rage, graffiti and battery in the last week.

A string of four thefts from vehicles hit Whitefish Bay Sunday night.

  • A $900 CD player was stolen from an unlocked car in the 1000 block of Circle Drive sometime between 11 p.m. Sunday and 5 a.m. Monday.
  • Two unlocked vehicles were entered sometime between 9 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday in the 5000 block of Cumberland Boulevard, but nothing was stolen from either vehicle.
  • The shifter knob was removed from an unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of Lexington Drive sometime between 7 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday.
  • Two factory radio knobs, an ash tray and $1.50 in change was stolen from an unlocked car in the 1000 block of Circle Drive late Sunday night.

In other police news:

  • Graffiti was found on the east garage door of and the south side warming house in Sunday morning.
  • A 68-year-old Whitefish Bay man was cited for disorderly conduct after he approached a vehicle after a road rage incident, opened the door and grabbed the other driver, a 55-year-old Bayside man, at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday at Marlborough Drive and Glen Avenue.
  • A 26-year-old man from England was cited for retail theft after stealing $9 in food from at 4:51 p.m. Friday. Police notified the man’s consulate.
  • A 25-year-old Beloit woman was issued a citation for battery for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, a 34-year-old Whitefish Bay man, at the man’s apartment in the 300 block of East Henry Clay Drive.
  • Police responded to Hampton Avenue and Anita Avenue at 10 p.m. Tuesday on a report of a 56-year-old Milwaukee woman stealing dirt from a construction site. Police advised the woman of the complaint.
  • An unlocked bicycle was stolen from the west side of the football field sometime between 9Β  and 10 p.m. Saturday. The bike is valued at $400.
