Police Report: Five Drunk Drivers, Stolen Property

The latest reports from the Whitefish Bay Police Department.

Whitefish Bay police made five drunken driving arrests this week.

The first arrest was made at 2:45 a.m. July 27, when a 24-year-old Crandon man was pulled over with a BAC of 0.14 in the 1300 block of East Hampton Road. He was traveling 39 mph in a 25-mph zone.

A 25-year-old Germantown man blew a 0.18 when he was pulled over in the 1200 block of East Henry Clay Street just after midnight early Thursday morning. He was arrested for his first offense of drunken driving.

A police squad was nearly hit by a drunken driver early Friday morning in the 4700 block of North Lake Drive. The 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested with a BAC of 0.16.

A 35-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 5300 block of North Lake Drive early Sunday morning. The driver was arrested for his first drunken driving offense at 3 a.m. with a BAC of 0.13.

A 28-year-old Glendale woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 500 block of Silver Spring Drive at Lake Drive early Sunday morning. She was also cited for keeping open intoxicants in the car and operating after suspension at 3:47 a.m. Blood draw results are pending.

In other police news:

  • A bike was reportedly stolen some time between 3 p.m. Friday and noon Monday in the 5500 block of North Kent. The garage might have been open at the time of the theft.
  • A revolver was stolen from an apartment in the 4900 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard. The resident believes the gun went missing between noon on July 19 and 5 p.m. July 25. The resident said work had been done in the apartment while he was gone.
  • Police stopped two people exiting at 12:34 a.m. July 27. One of the subjects turned over a bottle containing marijuana and then fled southbound on Newhall Street. Police were unable to locate the subject.
  • A 40-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for stealing $70 in alcohol from just after 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
