Police Report: Drunk Driving, Hit-and-Run

The latest reports from the Whitefish Bay Police Department.

A 22-year-old Glendale woman was arrested for drunken driving on Hampton Road last week.

She was initially pulled over at 2:08 am. on Feb. 26Β for running a flashing red light on Santa Monica Boulevard at Hampton Road. Her blood alcohol content measured 0.13. In addition to drunken driving, she was also cited for operating without insurance and failing to stop at a flashing red signal.

  • The police department received a report of a hit-and-run accident by a Milwaukee County Transit bus. The bus reportedly hit a vehicle that was legally parked in the 5500 block of Marlborough Drive at 5:47 p.m. on Feb. 27. The bus driver was notified by police.
  • A 24-year-old Whitefish Bay man and a 24-year-old Whitefish Bay woman were cited for disorderly conduct after a domestic disturbance at 11 p.m. Feb. 24 on Henry Clay Street. In addition to a disorderly conduct citation, the female victim was also mailed a citation for obstruction for presenting false information to officers. The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office declined to issue charges against the man.
  • A resident in the 1900 block of Hampton Road reported that an elderly female came to her door and demanded to be allowed in, as she was there to "reclaim her house." The homeowner did not allow the woman into the home, and she eventually left in the taxi that brought her.
