Police Report: Drunk Drivers, Stolen Gutters

The latest reports from the Whitefish Bay Police Department.

A 22-year-old Whitefish Bay woman's blood alcohol content was more than three times the legal limit when she hit a parked car in the 5100 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard Sunday night.

Police responded to the scene after the accident at 11 p.m., and after failing several sobriety tests, police determined her BAC was 0.26. She was issued citations for drunken driving, possession of alcohol and failure to control vehicle.

Earlier that day, at 2:30 a.m., a 22-year-old Slinger man was arrested for drunken driving in the 1700 block of East Fairmount Avenue. He was also cited for resisting an officer. His passengers, a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, both from Rubicon, were cited for underage drinking and keeping open intoxicants in the vehicle.

In other police news:

  • A resident on the 4800 block of North Lake Drive said someone stole a three-foot section of copper gutters off of his garage sometime between July 11 and July 13. The gutter has since been replaced at a cost of $150.
  • A bike was stolen from Cahill Park between 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Aug. 3. The blue woman’s Trek Sky S bicycle is valued at $577.
  • A 56-year-old Whitefish Bay man reported a 3-inch scratch was keyed into his driver door sometime between during the night of Aug. 3. He believed the scratch was in retaliation for his political sign.
