Four Drunk Drivers Caught in the Last Week

In the most recent arrest, an 18-year-old woman was found with a marijuana pipe, and her blood alcohol level was more than double the legal limit.

Whitefish Bay police found a marijuana pipe and a fake ID when they pulled over an intoxicated 18-year-old Milwaukee woman for drunken driving early Monday morning.

The officer pulled the woman over at 2:16 a.m. Monday in the 5400 block of Idlewild Avenue after noticing her driving eastbound down Silver Spring Drive, failing to yield a red light at Marlborough Drive, then squealing her tires as she took a right turn onto Marlborough Drive. The officer then clocked her at 35 mph on the 25 mph street.

When the officer approached the vehicle, the woman had a "mouthful of tortilla chips and was shoving more into her mouth." After she failed field sobriety tests, the officer noticed a marijuana pipe with marijuana residue that was still warm. The woman denied smoking that night and said the pipe hadn't been used in years.
