Five Unlocked Vehicles Entered Last Week

The thefts all occurred in the southeastern corner of the village.

Five unlocked vehicles were entered last week in the southeastern corner of the village:

  • About $23 in cash was stolen from an unlocked car in the 4600 block of Cramer Street. The theft was reported at 7 a.m. Wednesday.
  • A GPS navigation device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 4700 block of Larkin Street. The theft was reported at 7:43 a.m. Wednesday.
  • A GPS navigation device was stolen from an unlocked car in the 4700 block of Cramer Street sometime between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. Another unlocked car at the address was rummaged through, but nothing was stolen.
  • An iPod and iPod speaker were stolen from an unlocked car in the 4700 block of Larkin Street between 11 p.m. July 15 and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. The electronics were valued at $500.
