Burglary Reported on Oakland Avenue

A gold coin valued at about $500 was stolen from a house in the 4600 block of Oakland Avenue.

Whitefish Bay police are investigating a burglary that occurred last week on the Shorewood - Whitefish Bay border.

Officers were called to the house in the 4600 block of Oakland Avenue after a neighbor reported seeing one of the doors open. A gold coin valued at about $500 was stolen from the house. Police believe the burglary occurred sometime between 2 p.m. on Aug. 5 and 6 p.m. on Aug. 6.
