Glendale police were asked to intervene after a man repeatedly called Pizza Hut for three straight days and threatened to shoot employees over suspicious pizza toppings.

Glendale police officers are investigating an incident where a man threatened to shoot Pizza Hut employees and harassed them with dozens of phone calls after he claimed to find bird droppings in his food.

According to documents filed in Milwaukee County Circuit Court, employees of Pizza Hut, 6040 N. Port Washington Road, contacted the Glendale Police Department after a person began to call and harass them from Dec. 11 through 14. The man claimed he found bird droppings on his pizza and threatened to shoot employees.

The man continued to call the store repeatedly from 11 a.m. to midnight each day. During one 40-minute period he called the store 12 times.
