$1,400 in Cigarettes Stolen From CVS

Whitefish Bay police are investigating a major cigarette theft that occurred Friday afternoon at CVS Pharmacy.

A store employee called police at 1:54 p.m. Friday to report three men had just stolen 20 cartons of cigarettes valued at $1,400. The suspects, which were believed to be about 19 to 22 years old, allegedly went behind the counter, put the cigarettes in a bag, and fled northbound on Anita Avenue. A female was waiting in a car to drive them away.
