WFB Tutoring Going Rate?

Natalie O'Connor September 17, 2013 at 10:59 AM My High School Chemistry/FCP/Physics/ Biology tutoring rate is $35/hour. As a Whitefish Bay resident, and mother of two WFB High Honor Role students, I felt it was imperative to keep my rate manageable to most families. I have NEVER turned away hard-working student(s) for lack of the full rate, and we have made arrangements, accordingly. My success rate at improving scores, and more importantly- instilling self-confidence- has earned the Top Science Tutor Recommendation with the WFB Guidance Department for the last 4 years. I am aware of other tutoring rates- from $65-$80/hour (ACT Prep rates). My priority is working with the wonderful students at Bay (I have also had Nicolet, Dominican, etc students)- The satisfaction of seeing improvement is amazing. My only suggestion to those contemplating a tutoring service is -be proactive. It is easier-for everyone involved- to keep the confidence level high-which is so important- if one-on-one services are started before the student really digs themselves into a hole. I can be reached directly via Sarah Hall or any other counselor of the WFB Guidance Dept.RecommendDelete
