Top 10 Drugstore Deals with Printable Coupon Links; Freebies Galore

Sara Conrad from SarandipitySaves.com shows you that being cheap can be oh-so chic with fortuitous frugal discoveries.

There's some spiffy savings happening in the drugstore world this week so I thought I'd kill two....errr....budget birds with one column. ;)

Let's start over at Walgreens....

Walgreens makes saving is pretty easy with their Register Rewards program. Each week there are oodles of deals which produce Register Rewards, or RR for short. They will print with your receipt at the checkout and can be used on future purchases like cash.

There are a couple caveats though. You can not use an RR to purchase an item from the same brand as what the RR originally developed from. When you use the RR just make sure you do not use it to buy other items from said company.

Also, if you're using manufacturer 'pons make sure you do not have more items in your transaction than you do manufacturer coupons. It's just one of those little trip-ups Walgreens is famous for. You can use an item that is on sale with a store 'pon. Those don't count.

Now ... on to 5 great deals you can find this week (until 5/12) at your local Walgreens:

Alrighty...let's mosey on over to CVS and check out their sales but first here's a crash course on everything  you need to know about CVS.

CVS is pretty straight forward with their coupon policy, it's basics and no frills or spills. They also have a rewards system similar to Walgreens' Register Rewards where they give you coupons at the end of your receipt which can be used like cash at their stores after you purchase specific products. At CVS it's called "Extra Care Bucks" and it is amazing. They don't have restrictions on their ECB's so you can use them on any product, including those which initially produced the ECB's. It's a fave in the ol' saving arsenal.

Heads up, you do need an Extra Care card to snag all their sale prices and Extra Care Bucks but it's free, quick and painless to sign up.
