Double charges from local pizza place.
We ate Pizza from Upper Crust on 07/30 and paid for it with our debit card. We were charged the exact same amount a second time on 08/06 even though we never ordered. This was obviously double charged to our bank account. After gathering the bank information proving that our account was charged twice for the same transaction, the owner of the restaurant declined to give us our money back. He told us that we needed to dispute the charges with our bank. After doing this, the bank has proven that the restaurant charged us twice for the transaction and we will be getting our money back. My beef is with the owner of the restaurant. He knew full well that the charges were not legitimate but made us jump through many hoops to get OUR money back that they had "ACCIDENTALLY" taken out of our account twice. Needless to say, we will never patronize this establishment again. I would also encourage anyone that has ordered from this place to check their bank statements to make sure that this has not happened to them too. It seems silly to me that the owner took the route that they did rather than apologizing and making the situation right from the beginning.
