Obituary: Scott Wirig

Scott A. Wirig entered the fullness of Eternal Life on August 18, 2013 at the age of 58.

Resident of Whitefish Bay. Best friend and loving husband for 23 years of Mary V. Lundberg-Wirig. Cherished and proud father of Alison Mary Wirig. Devoted son of Helen H. (Errol) McIntyre and the late LeRoy E. Wirig (Mary Wirig). Dear brother of Paul (Jill) Wirig and Julie (Steve) Warijas. Further survived by many caring relatives and wonderful friends.

A graduate of Marquette University, Scott was extremely dedicated to his work at Jason Components Group. Scott lived his life with great optimism, courage and faith. Scott always put his family first. He will forever be remembered as a devoted husband and father and a loyal friend to all.

He was an inspiration to all who knew him. He had a special place in his heart for all animals and enjoyed spending time outdoors with all of nature. His biggest passion was volunteering his time to Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. 

Memorials in Scott's name may be made to the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, Raptors Program, or St. Monica’s School, Junior High Science Classroom, both in care of Feerick Funeral Home, 2025 E. Capitol Drive, Shorewood, WI 53211.
