Obituary: Nancy Schneider

Nancy M. Schneider (nee Walker) entered Eternal Life on February 18, 2013 at the age of 94.

Resident of the Milwaukee Catholic Home, formerly of Whitefish Bay. Beloved wife of the late Gordon B. Schneider, DDS. Loving mother of Margaret (Mark) Allen, John, Catherine Burns, Jane (Larry) Rebro, Mary (Jim) Kobach, James, Thomas, Paul (Debby), Mark (Karen), Carol (Dennis) Yost, and David (Molly) Schneider. Proud grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Charles (Betty Ann) Walker. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends.

Nancy was proud to serve her country in the Women’s Army Corp as a Nurse in WWII.

The family will greet friends on Saturday, February 23 at the Milwaukee Catholic Home from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private at Riverside Cemetery in Oshkosh, WI. Memorials in Nancy’s name may be made to the Milwaukee Catholic Home, 2462 N. Prospect Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53211. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to both the staff of the Milwaukee Catholic Home and VITAS Hospice, especially Bev, for the wonderful tender care given to their mother.
