Obituary: MaryAnn Mortellaro

The former Whitefish Bay resident passed away Wednesday, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 71.

MaryAnn Mortellaro (nee Free), formerly of Whitefish Bay, entered Eternal Life Wednesday, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 71.

Beloved wife of August Mortellaro. Dear mother of Tony (Sue) Mortellaro and Anne (Kurt) Sechtig. Sister of Jack (Carol) Free, Bob (Judith) Free and Jean (John) Kneiszel. Grandmother of Jacob, Angel, Alex and Cassie. Special niece of Butz Yunek. MaryAnn is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 15th from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at , 819 E. Silver Spring Dr., Whitefish Bay. A celebration of MaryAnn’s life will be held at 11 a.m. MaryAnn’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Elizabeth Residence Bayside for their compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in MaryAnn’s name can be sent to UWM, Newman Center, P.O. Box 413, Milwaukee, WI 53201, which is where MaryAnn and August met, or Alzheimer’s Assoc., 620 S. 76th St., Milwaukee, WI 53214.
