Obituary: Margery E. Hogan

Margery Hogan, a longtime resident of Whitefish Bay, was devoted to her family and was actively involved at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Margery E. Hogan (nee Scherr) entered Eternal Life on June 14, 2012 at the age of 81.

Margery was a longtime resident of Whitefish Bay and a beloved wife of the late James E. Hogan. She was a loving mother of Kathleen M. (Dave) Grussing, Patricia J. Stampfer and James E. (Margaret) Hogan, Jr. A proud grandmother of Jessica (Josh) VanDenBerg, Julie (Dan) Simniok, Colin and Connor Hogan, Nicholas VanDenBerg, Kim (Marcelo) and Kari (Earl) their families and of the late Jenna Stampfer. She is further survived by other relatives and good friends.

Margery’s love and devotion to her faith and to her family was unsurpassed. She lived her life by living a life of genuine commitment to her Christian values and morals and living by example. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and living each day to its fullest. Margery truly gave of herself through the sharing of her time and talent with Holy Family Parish, serving as a sacristan, involvement with the Cenacle, and numerous other church functions.

Margery, you will be deeply missed by your family and all who had the privilege of knowing you.

Visitation will take place on Monday, June 18, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feerick Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, at 10:00 AM, at , corner of Wildwood and Hampton, Whitefish Bay, followed by a reception at the Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will be private for the family.
