September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month and Whitefish Bay Public Library wants to make sure that everyone in the community has the smartest card of all – a library card!
Observed since 1987, Library Card Sign-Up Month is a time when the American Library Association and libraries across the country remind parents that a library card is the most important school supply of all. Your library card will give you access to all the libraries in Milwaukee County as well as internet access to the library computers.
It is free to register for a library card and during the month of September the $2 replacement fee will be waived if you have lost or can’t find your library card. Stop in at the library and register for a card, or replace your lost card, it will be the smartest card in your wallet!
