Fourth Of July Fun In Whitefish Bay

Whitefish Bay comes together to celebrate with a parade, fireworks, and good times in Klode Park.

Thousands came out to celebrate the Fourth of July in Whitefish Bay Thursday.

The weather was beautiful and the streets were packed for Whitefish Bay's Fourth of July parade. Afterward the crowd headed to Klode Park for food, music, kids games and fireworks. The event was made possible with the help of more than 200 volunteers.

Whitefish Bay Civic Foundation President Crystal Luehne said the Civic Foundation raised a record amount of money this year. The money will go toward Civic Foundation events, as well as other wish list projects like a sign in Old Schoolhouse Park, a fireplace for ice skaters at the Cahill Park Pavilion and additional funds for the Civic Foundation scholarship program.
