The Fourth of July is Thursday, which means everyone is going to Winkie's to stock up for Whitefish Bay's biggest holiday.
Winkie's is known for its holiday accessories, and the Fourth of July is no exception. More than 60 American flag hats have flown off the shelves in the last 24 hours, not to mention the dozens of flags, beads, picnicware and outdoor decorations.
The Whitefish Bay Independence Day parade steps off on Silver Spring Drive and Kent Avenue at 11:30 a.m. and ends at Klode Park, where a day full of food, games, music will be had before the fireworks display at 9:30 a.m.
