Pumpkin Patch is Open for Business

United Methodist Church is selling 43,680 pounds of pumpkins to fund mission trips and meal programs.

The pumpkin patch is now open at United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay.

The pumpkin patch is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Proceeds will fund youth mission trips to repair homes in Appalachia and to replace unsafe cooking stoves with safe cooking stoves. The money will also fund health-related projects in Guatemala and meal programs for the hungry.

New this year: The church will be hosting a chili cook-off on Oct. 19 – the same day as the "Trunk-or-Treat" block party. The church encourages local individuals, organizations and businesses to enter the chili cook-off contest.
