Local historian to speak at Tuesday luncheon

Thomas Fehring will discuss Whitefish Bay's history at the Whitefish Bay Recreation Department's monthly luncheon Tuesday.

Fehring's presentation, titled "Discovering Our Whitefish Bay Heritage," will address the efforts of the Whitefish Bay Historic Preservation Commission in documenting the village's historic past. The presentation will aso review some recent findings from the commission, and Fehring will show images from Fehring's recently-published historical book, titled "Whitefish Bay."

The historical presentation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Lydell Community Center, 5205 N. Lydell Ave. The luncheon forum is called 3F, for Friends, Food and Fellowship.
