Join NCJW as we learn about this important human rights issue. We will have an expert panel of speakers: Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Rebecca Dallet, Branch 40; Judge Dallet has presided over human trafficking cases and helped draft the jury instructions used by judges who preside over these cases statewide; Rachel Monaco-Wilcox, J.D.Chair and Assistant Professor, Justice Department Coordinator,LOTUS legal clinic (Legal Options for Trafficked and Underserved Survivors) at Mount Mary University; Detective Dawn Jones of the Milwaukee Police Department; Det. Jones is assigned to Sensitive Crimes and the Human Trafficking Task Force. Panel discussion will be moderated by Today's TMJ 4's Jonah Kaplan. Participants will then have an opportunity to advocate for pertinent legislation at our letter-writing station.
