Year in Review - #8: Dominican Athletic Director Resigned

Paul Wollersheim, the former boys basketball coach and athletic director at Dominican High School, was accused of – but not charged with – sexual assault last school year.

As 2012 winds to a close, it's time to reflect on the top stories of the year. The year's top 10 Whitefish Bay stories were chosen based on page views, as well as community impact.

The eighth-most popular story involved Paul Wollersheim, the former athletic director and boys basketball coach at Dominican High School. A female colleague claimed in May that he made sexual advances toward her, but the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office decided not to file charges.

Wollersheim later resigned, saying "the recent false allegations against me have been a nightmare for my family and me."
