Yes, it's the first week of December, and we're still talking about leaf pickup.
The village has announced it will stop picking up leaves on Friday. All leaves must be out on the curb by Thursday night, in time for the last pickup at 7 a.m. Friday.

Village officials say the leaf pickup machines are no longer suctioning the leaves out of the street, so all new leaves needs to be put in bags or open containers.
