Week Ahead: Wine & Chocolate, Music for Munchkins and Cabaret

Whitefish Bay High School bands will feature Motown music Friday and Saturday, and the orchestra will play a children's concert Sunday afternoon.

Healing the Heart of Democracy Workshop: United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay will hold a workshop titled "A Season of Civility" at 7 p.m. Monday. The workshop is hosted by UMC's Church and Society Committee and is based on the book "Healing the Heart of Democracy" by Parker Palmer. 

An Evening of Wine & Chocolate: Whitefish Bay businesses are rolling out the red carpet for customers with complimentary refreshments, live entertainment, complimentary chair massages, exclusive promotions, demonstrations and giveaway drawings during this special event at 5 p.m. Thursday.

Cabaret Concert: The Whitefish Bay High School Bands present the 22nd Annual Cabaret Concert, featuring the Music of Motown 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for students and include desserts and beverages served cabaret-style. Seating is limited and both performances sell out, so order tickets today

Music for Munchkins Children's Concert: The Whitefish Bay High School Orchestra presents “Jungle Jam,” its annual Music for Munchkins Children’s Concert on Sunday. This family-friendly event features a string instrument “petting zoo” and jungle-themed craft making from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m., followed by an adventure-filled concert at 1:30 p.m.
