A village committee is seeking input from the Village Board regarding a potential Private Property Inflow and Infiltration program in the village. The board will consider whether property owners should be required to repair or replace sewer laterals and to disconnect palmer valves in a timely fashion, as well as exploring incentives that will prompt completion of that work. Trustees will also consider authorizing village staff to explore the creation of a storm water utility to fund private property modifications and public infrastructure improvements.
