Week Ahead: State of the District, Holy Family Rummage Sale

Here's a look at some of the events in our events calendar this week. If we're missing something, you can add it to the calendar.

State of the School District: All are welcome to join Dr. Mary Gavigan, District Administrator, for a presentation of the status of education in the Whitefish Bay School District and to learn about the vision and future directions of the District. The presentation begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Whitefish Bay High School.

North Shore Chess Club: The North Shore Chess Club formed this summer for children interested in playing chess. Young chess enthusiasts meet each Thursday anytime from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at The City Market.

Holy Family Rummage Sale: A big rummage sale will be held at at Holy Family from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 13.

Portraits in the Park: The Whitefish Bay High School Orchestra will be holding a fundraiser called Portraits in the Park at Kletzsch Park on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
