Week Ahead: Dunkin' Donuts Opening; Celtic Celebration at the Library

The Lenten season continues with fish fries at United Methodist Church and Holy Family Parish.

:  The first 100 guests at Dunkin' Donuts grand opening celebration Tuesday morning will receive a free travel mug. Guests will also be treated to sampling of a variety of beverages and bakery sandwiches. The business . Village Manager Patrick DeGrave will participate in the ribbon cutting, along with Dunkin’ Donuts owners and business district leaders.

: Gaelic harpist and storyteller Jeff Pockat will play harp and tell a series of stories about the Gaelic harp, as well as the culture, the players and the times they lived in during an event at the Thursday night.

: Whitefish Bay native Sean Quirk will bring his Alash Ensemble, a throat singing group based in the Republic of Tuva in the Russian Federation, to Richards School Friday night. Tuvan throat singing is a technique that allows vocalists to sing multiple pitches at one time.

The Green Square Center for the Healing Arts in Glendale is offering an integrative approach to cancer care on Sunday, March 18 from 1 to 5 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, see this flier.
