According to the village memo:

All turf at the little league field will be sprayed with Mec Amine D (a selective broadleaf herbicide) for general weed control. Common areas and areas along fence lines will be sprayed with Razor Pro (a non-selective herbicide) to control unwanted grass and weed growth. Doucide, a granular insect controller, will be applied to control grubs and other destructive insects. A Material Safety Data Sheet on the applied products are available at the snack shack.

A certified application contractor will perform the work according to industry best practices. The park will be closed May 25 through the afternoon of May 28.
