JCC Joins Forces With Stillwaters Cancer Support Services

Stillwaters, a Waukesha-based cancer support organization, now has an office at the Jewish Community Center in Whitefish Bay.

Waukesha-based Stillwaters Cancer Support Services is now offering cancer support services at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center in Whitefish Bay.

Stillwaters began offering services at the JCC in January as part of its commitment to expand its programming in Milwaukee and continue some of the previous services offered by Gilda’s Club. Through the partnership, the two organizations strive to provide patients and families with support to deal with the anxiety and fear that is common with a cancer experience.

During Tuesday’s special celebration marking the new partnership, the JCC presented Stillwaters with a $5,000 check in proceeds from the JCC’s Laugh It Up Milwaukee 2013 fundraiser in January.
