A Patriotic Independence Day in the Bay

Whitefish Bay celebrates freedom with a parade, games and family fun at Klode Park.

Klode Park and the streets of Whitefish Bay were all red, white and blue Monday, as families celebrated freedom at Independence Day in the Bay.

The day kicked off with the 26th annual Whitefish Bay Fourth of July Parade, featuring sounds from the University of Wisconsin Badger Band, the Whitefish Bay Summer Youth Band and more.

After the parade, the festivities shifted to Klode Park, where families enjoyed kids games, face painting, food, music and – later in the night – fireworks.
