Whitefish Bay Masters swimmers achieve National rankings

The Whitefish Bay 5am masters swimmers continue to rake in honors from their outstanding Winter season.

One swimmer Andrew Toay  (The North Shore Swim Club coach) achieved individual honors ranking in the top 10 Nationally of all Masters swimmers 18-24 in the 1000 free(8th) and the 1650 free(5th).

Women’s 18+ 800 Free Relay Sonja Johansson, Renee Scherck-Meyer, Cheryl Drury, Erin Green(6th)

Mixed 18+ 800 Free Relay Andrew Toay, Lindsey King, Dave Pasterski, Sarah Milia (3rd)

Mixed 800 Free Relay 45+ Dave Drury, Karen Kimple, Debbie Katzman and Dave Clark(4th)

The same quartet,  was also top ten in the 400 Medley relay (5th) and the 400 Free Relay(5th).

In addition Coach Clark achieved National rankings in both the Men’s 55+ 200 Medley relay (7th)and 200

free relay (8th) as part of the Wisconsin Masters regional team at the US Masters nationals.

The Fall season for Whitefish Bay Masters starts September 3rd, registration at the Whitefish Bay

 Recreation Department.
