Yo Mama Frozen Yogurt Opens Thursday
Shorewood will join the frozen yogurt craze in the greater Milwaukee area Thursday when Yo Mama yogurt opens its doors on North Oakland Avenue.
Whitefish Bay saw Sweet Frog and CherryBerry open up within a couple months of each other last year.
On Thursday, Shorewood will join the emerging frozen yogurt trend spreading across the Milwaukee area.
The frozen yogurt shop at 4525 N. Oakland Ave. will dish up six self-serve frozen yogurts with several topping options. The shop will also have an outdoor drinking fountain for dogs, which will fill when a button is pushed and drain shortly after to ensure a fresh drink for the next dog.

Yo Mama is the final retail piece of the Ravenna development, Yo Mama frozen yogurt. It will join Indulgence Chocolatiers, Elements East and Performance Running Outfitters in the Ravenna and mark the chain's third shop in the Milwaukee area.
Yo Mama's hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
