Update: On Monday, Aug. 5, Grace Bolen, co-owner of the store told Patch that she is still waiting to get approval from the building and health inspectors before the shop can open. "Unfortunately, they have slowed down our process," said Bolen, who promised an update later this week.

Workers are busy on the interior of the new Grace & Shelly’s Cupcakes shop on Silver Spring Drive, but don't expect it to open by Thursday, the scheduled opening date.
Patch stopped by Wednesday to check on the progress of the store and by all appearances, there is still a fair amount if work to be done.
We'll get you an update on a firm opening date as soon as we can.
The shop is located at the old Think Toys store at 308 E. Silver Spring Dr.
In addition to gourmet cupcakes, the store also will feature Wisconsin-made ice cream and gourmet popcorn.
