TJ Aliota's Closed For Remodeling

Building owner says sports bar will reopen in March after extensive renovations.

The rumor around the village that is closed are not true, according to the founder of the sports bar at 261 E. Hampton Road.

Thomas Aliota, Sr., who founded the bar in 1980 and still owns the mini-strip mall that houses the restaurant, said the bar closed last week for extensive interior renovations, and he expects the business to re-open around March.

Aliota said renovations will be made to the bar area and the ceiling, and all of the booths will be removed.
