Stone Creek Coffee Celebrates 20 Years in Whitefish Bay

The local coffee shop has now grown to nine shops in the metro area.

Stone Creek Coffee Roasters has become a staple in the Metro Milwaukee area, serving locally roasted coffee for 20 years.

Stone Creek first opened in 1993 with a store in Whitefish Bay and has now grown to over nine coffee shops around the area, including their brand new factory and store in downtown Milwaukee. They also have wholesale partners around the state as well. Yet it is the locals that keep them going.

“A lot of the customers that come in are mostly regulars,” said barista Nick Ouchie of Riverwest.

Although usually quite busy most mornings, Ouchie says that it's Sunday mornings when he sees the most foot traffic.

“Most stop in on their way home from church,” Ouchie said. “ It's a great place to grab a coffee and a scone for the ride home.”
