Sprecher Restaurant Coming to Bayshore Town Center

With three locations around the state, Sprecher is launching its first Milwaukee-area location just down the road from the brewery's headquarters.

Sprecher's Restaurant and Pub is opening its first Milwaukee-area restaurant less than two miles away from the brewery's headquarters.

With locations in Madison, Lake Geneva and Wisconsin Dells, Sprecher’s Restaurant & Pub this morning announced their plans to open a fourth location at Bayshore Town Center. The restaurant will be licensed by Sprecher Brewing, and owned and operated by Wisconsin natives Kevin and Katy Lederer and Felix and Kristin Richgels.

“We are very excited to bring Sprecher’s Pub to our namesake brewery’s home in Glendale,” Kevin Lederer said in a news release. “Sprecher Brewing is an icon in the Milwaukee area, particularly in the North Shore, and we always knew that we wanted to open a location here.”

Sprecher Brewing Company was founded in 1985 and moved to its current location in Glendale in 1994.

Sprecher’s Restaurant & Pub launched four years ago, serving locally-sourced food made from scratch with 14 world-class Wisconsin brewed beers and four gourmet sodas on tap from Sprecher Brewery. A special feature at the Bayshore location will be a walk-up window where customers can purchase root beer floats on the go.

Five more stores on the way

Sprecher's announcement comes on the heels of another regional restaurant – 8-Twelve MVP Bar and Grill – announcing their plans to come to Bayshore Town Center.

The mall also announced five new retail tenants that are expected to launch at Bayshore in the second half of the year:

  • Athleta, a division of Gap Inc., is opening their first Milwaukee-based store in late summer. Athleta offers performance-driven apparel for women.
  • Paper Source, another store new to Milwaukee, will feature invitations, wrapping paper, unique gifts, stationary and more.
  • Ulta Beauty will open its third Wisconsin location in November and will feature a full-service salon inside the store.
  • Torrid will open its second Milwaukee-area clothing store in August, featuring plus-sized jeans, dresses and other clothing items.
  • Icing by Claire’s will open in August and feature everything from jewelry to hair and beauty accessories to ear piercings.

Other changes at the mall

  • Payless Shoe Source will relocate next to Charlotte Russe in the interior portion of the Town Center.

  • Lane Bryant will renovate and move closer to Select Comfort, making way for the arrival of Ulta Beauty.

  • Board Game Barrister will be expanding and relocating to an interior corner position next to the Food Court.

  • US Cellular has moved from the interior of the Town Center to the exterior portion across from Buffalo Wild Wings.
