Photos: Ladies Night Out on Silver Spring Drive

Silver Spring businesses offered refreshments, promotions and a chance to support American military troops through the Trees From Home initiative.

More than 20 businesses on Silver Spring Drive. participated in Thursday, offering in-store promotions, prize drawings, complimentary samplings, and other unique offerings.

Guests traveled from store to store, stamping a special Ladies Night Out passport with the hopes of winning a $100 gift card for Silver Spring businesses.

Participating businesses also raised funds for , an organization that sends decorated miniature Christmas trees to our troops overseas during the holidays. Guests also had the opportunity to decorate the trees at a table set up outside .
