Join Silver Spring Businesses for "An Evening of Wine and Chocolate"

Whitefish Bay Patch will join nearly 30 local businesses for a night of wine, chocolate, entertainment, demonstrations and sales.

With Valentine's Day just a week away, the shops along Silver Spring Drive are inviting you to check out their specialty sales while sipping wine and sampling chocolates.

"An Evening of Wine & Chocolate" will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. Shops will be open late with live entertainment, exclusive promotions, trunk shows, and unique giveaway drawings and gifts. Guests can meet business owners and take advantage of complimentary chair massages, demonstrations, sneak previews and special sales.

Nearly 30 Silver Spring businesses are participating in the event. Some examples include , which will serve up refreshments, an acoustic guitar performance and an opportunity to meet a representative from the event co-sponsor, Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition. You could also relax with wine, chocolate and a free chair massage at , sample a chocolate fountain while watching a luggage packing demonstration at or sip champagne while shopping around for bras and lingerie at .

Whitefish Bay Patch will be at , where we will hold a photo booth for you and your friends to take a picture and remember the fun night. The salon will also be serving truffles from and give away coupons for retail products and salon services.

The event is made possible through a partnership with the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition, a non-profit member of the shopping district. The organization is an alliance of individuals and organizations committed to halting the alarming incidence of breast cancer in Wisconsin through education, collaboration and legislation.
